Why are both symbols confused?
The confusion arises because both symbols can look very similar at first glance. In international purchases, commercial data sheets, product photographs or identification plates, it is not always easy to distinguish whether the symbol has been applied correctly.

- lack of diagrams, drawings or technical information.

What are the risks of importing equipment with a doubtful CE mark?
Accepting an imported machine with a doubtful CE mark can create significant risks for the company. The first is technical risk: a poorly assessed machine may present mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal or functional safety hazards.
