The <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1144\">Lift machine room<\/strong><\/span> was located directly above his bedroom, and the <strong data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1249\"><span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\">noise<\/span> <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\">produced by the operation of the lift<\/span><\/strong>, particularly at night, exceeded the limits allowed by the <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1392\">Municipal Ordinance for the Protection against Noise Pollution<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1395\" data-end=\"1814\">The initial measurements taken by the Town Hall confirmed the resident's complaint: the corrected noise levels during the lift descent reached <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1600\">34 dBA during the night period<\/strong><\/span>, exceeding the limit of <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"1645\">30 dBA permitted<\/strong><\/span> for bedrooms between 23:00 and 07:00. Additionally, the presence of <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1770\">emerging tonal components at 160 Hz<\/strong><\/span>, which involved additional penalties.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c186654 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"c186654\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-eb21a1a\" data-id=\"eb21a1a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f8e69fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f8e69fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Technical diagnosis: accelerometer and sound meter measurements<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-604128e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"604128e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-c4616eb\" data-id=\"c4616eb\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc46938 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fc46938\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"2087\">Upon receipt of the <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"1941\">Municipal notice<\/strong><\/span> and the requirement to implement corrective measures, the <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2031\">Residents' Association<\/strong><\/span> He\/She contacted our technical team at TICE.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2503\">We carried out a complete <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"2112\" data-end=\"2140\">acoustic study\u00ab<em>in situ\u00bb<\/em><\/strong><\/span>, focused on detecting how noise was transmitted within the building's structure. Through<span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"> <strong data-start=\"2241\" data-end=\"2282\">Acoustic measurements with an accelerometer<\/strong><\/span>, we identified that the main cause was <strong data-start=\"2328\" data-end=\"2370\"><span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\">transmission<\/span> <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\">vibrational structure<\/span><\/strong> originating from the lift shaft and the electrical control panel, directly affecting the flat situated directly below.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"2505\" data-end=\"2672\">Through the analysis of excitation frequencies, we were able to determine the critical points and design a solution adapted to the structural conditions of the building.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-1f2cb74 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1f2cb74\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-828d79d\" data-id=\"828d79d\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-be1d233 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"be1d233\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Solution executed: installation of low-frequency dampers<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-a5e2817 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"a5e2817\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-bc23ff4\" data-id=\"bc23ff4\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-af22602 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"af22602\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2752\" data-end=\"3115\">Our technical proposal consisted of<span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"> <strong data-start=\"2794\" data-end=\"2857\">Installation of low-frequency spring shock absorbers<\/strong><\/span>, both in the <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2895\">lift bench<\/strong><\/span> as in the <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"2907\" data-end=\"2927\">electrical panel<\/strong><\/span>. These types of shock absorbers are specially designed for <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"2992\" data-end=\"3047\">to interrupt the transmission of mechanical vibrations<\/strong><\/span> through structural elements such as beams, columns or slabs.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"3117\" data-end=\"3381\">In the case of the electrical panel, the rigid supports were replaced with retaining dampers, which also eliminated the effect of <span style=\"color: #21bfd8;\"><strong data-start=\"3268\" data-end=\"3300\">Contactor hammering<\/strong><\/span>, another of the elements generating perceptible noise in the lower dwelling.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4e27362 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4e27362\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-5e050b5\" data-id=\"5e050b5\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef06616 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ef06616\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u2705 Results: A 9dB reduction and regulatory compliance<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-85bf93f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"85bf93f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-62e7081\" data-id=\"62e7081\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6eb6f23 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6eb6f23\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3457\" data-end=\"3635\">Following the implementation of these measures, the Local Council requested a new measurement.
