We implement strategies ranging from adapting machinery to optimising industrial processes, ensuring that each project has a positive impact on the environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0da402b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0da402b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Case study: ARPLAST SL<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-842a913 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"842a913\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The project involved the retrofitting of four cardboard tube manufacturing machines, specifically a tube cutting saw, a machine for gluing paper sheeting onto the tube, an upper beading machine and a lower beading machine, at a factory producing sustainable packaging and thermoformed solutions (100%) using recycled, biodegradable and compostable plastic and cardboard materials in Alaquas, Valencia.<\/p><p>Would you like to know more about Artplast? <a href=\"https:\/\/arplastsl.com\/\"><u>Sustainable packaging and thermoformed plastic containers \u2013 Arplast (arplastsl.com)<\/u><\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-58cd752 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"58cd752\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How do we approach sustainable engineering in this case?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15cb91d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"15cb91d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Previously, an on-site risk assessment was carried out for the 4 teams.,<strong> We take data, evaluate, and correct using solutions.<\/strong> A posteriori, documentation and a technical-economic offer with the proposed solutions, the performance report and offer were provided.<\/p><p>Following this, we carried out a performance report on the equipment, which they accepted, and the following month we completed the assembly and commissioning (PEM).<\/p><p>Here are the solutions implemented on each team:<\/p><ol><li>SAW BLADE<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Installation of a control panel next to the equipment with run, stop and emergency stop functions, screwed to the saw's structure.<\/li><li>The customer will install the pedal board on top to keep their hand busy.<\/li><li>Placement of danger pictogram for risk of cuts or electrical sectioning on a location next to the equipment.<\/li><\/ul><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7284 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grupo-tice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/ingenieria-sostenible-300x226.webp\" alt=\"Sustainable engineering\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li>Frozen equipment<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Labelling of the Chinese\/English push-button plate to Spanish for improved readability in case of danger<\/li><li>Yellow emergency stop label<\/li><li>Flue for gas conduction with opening for refilling, and a 3D printed cap<\/li><li>Fencing with a 40x40 square profile structure with a top opening to allow adjustment from the upper steering wheel. The fencing will have adjustable legs and will rest on some parts of the machine. There will be a sliding side door to access the roller area for removing jams. This door has an interlocking device.<\/li><li>Cover for the gear access opening, secured with a screwed 1.5 mm metal plate to prevent access<\/li><li>To prevent access, a mesh can be placed in the front area. With 20x20 profiles and screwed to the machine's structure.<\/li><li>Placement of a pictogram for entrapment hazard and electrical risk next to the equipment.<\/li><\/ul><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7286\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grupo-tice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/ingenieria-sostenible-valencia-300x226.webp\" alt=\"Sustainable engineering Valencia\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li>TOP BORDEr<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Labelling of the Chinese\/English push-button plate to Spanish for improved readability in case of danger<\/li><li>Yellow emergency stop label<\/li><li>Placement of a pictogram for entrapment hazard and electrical risk next to the equipment.<\/li><li>Disconnect the drives from the cylinder to prevent drives.<\/li><li>The entire perimeter of the machine will be fenced off, leaving access only to the area where cardboard rolls are inserted and removed. Access to moving parts will be prevented to avoid entrapment. Access to moving parts will be prevented to avoid the risk of trapping. A door with an interlock can be added if access is required for adjustments.<\/li><li>To be able to insert and remove the rolls, a manual lining system is proposed where the operator will push the roll through the guides onto the rotating platform.
