To clear up any doubts, we will now explain in a simple way which ones require this marking and what requirements are needed to obtain it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5eee153 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5eee153\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Which metal structures need to have a CE marking?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-533fb35 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"533fb35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Following the UNE 1090 standard, the metal structures that must obtain CE marking are the following:<\/p><h3>Workshop-fabricated structures<\/h3><p>This includes <strong>products made of either steel or aluminium<\/strong>. Therefore, works carried out on site that are subject to other regulations, such as CTE or ISO 3834, are excluded.<\/p><h3>Structures that are to be permanently part of civil engineering works or buildings<\/h3><p>At this point, structures used for support during construction, such as mobile scaffolding, are excluded.<\/p><h3>Load-bearing structures<\/h3><p><strong>Those subject to structural design<\/strong>. It is important to stress that the product liability rests with the manufacturer, regardless of who carried out the design, whether it was the client themselves or an external company.<\/p><p>To make it easier to understand, the metal structures that require CE marking include, but are not limited to:<\/p><ul><li>Those that fulfil the purpose of supporting solar panels.<\/li><li>Motorway signs.<\/li><li>Structures for silos.<\/li><li>Those permanently used in civil engineering projects, such as bridges or stadiums.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cba236b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cba236b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">CE Marking Requirements<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-75b4451 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"75b4451\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To obtain CE marking, certain requirements must be met, these are:<\/p><h3>Conformity assessment<\/h3><p>The metal structures that have to obtain CE marking will have to undergo a <strong>Conformity Assessment System<\/strong>.
