We present a new success story: Adaptation of Cardboard Transforming Machinery to Royal Decree 1215\/97<\/b><\/h2>\n

Today we're telling you about our latest success story in the field of Industrial Safety<\/a>. One of our clients, specialising in cardboard conversion, contacted us to adapt some of their machinery. This machine park continues to operate mechanically in an optimal manner, but they required our assistance to carry out a Suitability of machinery to RD 1215\/97<\/strong><\/a> and meet current safety requirements, and they decided to place their bet on Grupo Tice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our client was motivated by improving the safety of their employees and modernising their factory. The equipment we had to assess consists of a set of machines, integrated into production lines, manufactured in the mid-80s, with robust mechanics and a low level of technological and automated integration. These are machines with operations controlled by electrical contacts and very old electronic boards.<\/p>\n

Its specifications and requirements were as follows:<\/h3>\n

The specifications and requirements were of different types. Comply with the minimum safety measures of RD1215\/97, maintain the equipment, integrate the changes without modernising the control system, modify the work process as little as possible, and plan the actions during factory downtime to avoid losing production.<\/p>\n

Dangers detected<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The dangers detected in the review were several:<\/p>\n

Entrapment due to proximity of machine operator to dangerous parts, insufficient number of emergency stops, low machine safety level, absence of safety modules, falls from height due to absence of guardrails, and lack of signage.<\/p>\n

Once all the features, specifications, requirements, and hazards have been evaluated, we proceeded to the Solution development<\/strong>:<\/span><\/div>\n
